Ourea

The mountains themselves, born from Gaia without union — the same Hesiodic catalogue line that produces them names them as the long peaks where the Nymphs would later dwell. Each major massif of the Greek world (Olympus, Helicon, Cithaeron, Ida, Parnassus) carries its own minor cult; the Ourea collectively personify that whole tier of the cosmic landscape.
