Hemera

Day personified, born of Erebus and Nyx; her cycle marks the rhythm by which night yields to light. In Hesiod the two sisters never meet at the bronze threshold of Tartarus — they pass each other in greeting as one leaves and the other returns, so that one of them is always abroad on the earth and the other within her great hall.
