Calais

Winged son of Boreas the North Wind, brother of Zetes, Argonaut. With his brother he drove the Harpies off the table of the blind seer Phineus at Salmydessus, pursuing them across the sea until Iris of the rainbow intervened and forbade the Boreads to kill the creatures of Zeus (Apollonius *Argonautica* 2.234-300). The brothers are always named together in the sources and act as a single pair.
