Athena

Goddess of wisdom, the loom, and strategic warfare. Zeus swallowed her pregnant mother Metis on a warning that her son would surpass him; Athena instead leapt from his head fully armed. She won Athens from Poseidon with the gift of the olive and stood as protector and counsellor to Odysseus and Heracles through the Homeric epics.
